First New Screenshots Since 2022
Square Enix has officially shared two brand-new screenshots of Kingdom Hearts IV via their official X account, marking the first update on the game since its initial reveal in April 2022.

The message continues with a heartfelt thanks to fans for their ongoing support and patience:
“We’ve seen how excited you are, and we are truly grateful from the bottom of our hearts. We are equally excited and can’t wait to share more about Kingdom Hearts IV when the time is right.”
While there’s still no release window, these new visuals serve as a much-needed signal that progress is ongoing — and that more is coming, eventually.
They also thanked fans for their patience and excitement, adding that they’re eager to share more when the time is right. The new images give a brief but promising glimpse at what’s next in Sora’s journey—and it’s clear Square Enix wants to deliver something big.
