No Heroes Here 2 Arrives July 1 on All Major Platforms
Indie developer Mad Mimic has announced that No Heroes Here 2 will launch on July 1, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. After a long Early Access phase since October 2024, the full version brings more polish, content, and chaos.
In a time when many co-op games focus on action or survival, No Heroes Here 2 continues to embrace its identity as a fast-paced tower defense party game that thrives on teamwork. The game adds new characters like the Jester and Princess, new kingdoms with unique mechanics, and more ways to cause hilarious disaster. With 30 castles to defend across three kingdoms, 15 escalating rounds per castle, and roguelike progression, players are in for an unpredictable challenge. The moment-to-moment gameplay still relies on frantic communication and split-second decisions, making it ideal for couch co-op and online sessions alike.
This sequel doesn’t reinvent the genre, but it doesn’t have to. What it does is build confidently on its foundations with more depth and personality. For fans of Overcooked-style chaos and strategic defense, No Heroes Here 2 could be one of the most enjoyable multiplayer releases of the summer.
