Silent Hill f Shows New Gameplay and Sets 2025 Release Window

Konami returned to the spotlight during today’s State of Play with a fresh look at Silent Hill f, the next evolution of the legendary horror series. Alongside the new trailer, the company confirmed a 2025 release window—marking the first proper entry in the franchise in over a decade.

The new footage doesn’t hold back. It dives headfirst into psychological and body horror, drenched in eerie floral imagery and a creeping sense of decay. Set in 1960s Japan, Silent Hill f swaps the fog-covered streets of the West for haunted rural landscapes where nature feels just as sinister as the supernatural.

The gameplay showcase gives us a glimpse of exploration, puzzle elements, and disturbing enemy encounters. There’s a noticeable focus on narrative pacing and visual dread, with scenes shifting from unsettling silence to frantic chaos in seconds. Visually, it’s striking—dark interiors, rotting blossom-covered corridors, and grotesque transformations all play into the game’s twisted aesthetic.

Silent Hill f will be released on September 25th, 2025.
