During the Xbox Games Showcase, Bethesda and MachineGames officially unveiled The Order of Giants, the first major story expansion for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. The DLC is set to release on September 4, 2025, and will be available across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC platforms.
Set during the events of the base game, The Order of Giants takes players deep into the ancient underworld of Rome, featuring historic landmarks like the Cloaca Maxima and the catacombs beneath Vatican City. Indiana Jones embarks on a dangerous new journey uncovering secrets of a mysterious society known as the Nephilim Order—a hidden civilization believed to be descended from ancient giants. As Indy navigates the crumbling tunnels and waterways, he’ll face off against cultists, mythical creatures, and brutal gladiators in a storyline filled with high-stakes adventure.
The expansion will continue the signature mix of exploration, stealth, combat, and puzzle-solving, while introducing darker, more mythic elements that push the game’s narrative deeper into ancient legend. Teaser footage from the Xbox event showcased Indy scaling rooftops, navigating deadly ruins, and uncovering lost relics in true cinematic fashion.
The Order of Giants will be included at no extra cost for those who own the Premium Edition, Premium Upgrade, Collector’s Edition, or Collector’s Bundle of the game. It will also be available as a standalone purchase.
This DLC promises to deepen the lore of the Great Circle universe, bringing fans a fresh and thrilling chapter in Indiana Jones’ latest digital adventure.
