Amplitude Studios and publisher Hooded Horse have officially announced that Endless Legend II will enter Early Access on Steam starting August 7, 2025. Set in the oceanic world of Saiadha, the game continues the franchise’s signature blend of turn-based strategy and fantasy storytelling—now layered with real-time environmental evolution called “Tidefalls.”
These recurring world events dynamically transform the terrain, revealing hidden ruins and reshaping strategic objectives. From rising tides to receding shorelines, players must adapt their empire-building and warfare tactics to a constantly changing map.
The Early Access launch will introduce five playable factions: the star-born Kin of Sheredyn, the coral-spreading Aspects, and the ever-hungry Necrophages, among others. Each faction features distinct gameplay mechanics, unique heroes, and narrative-driven campaigns that enrich the strategic depth.
From city-building and tactical hex-grid battles to diplomacy and hero-led quests, Endless Legend II aims to expand the 4X genre’s boundaries. The addition of live-world mechanics and asymmetric factions signals Amplitude’s boldest leap in innovation.
