Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Essential free games for July 2025 in celebration of the service’s 15th anniversary. From July 1 to August 4, subscribers can download:
Diablo IV (PS5, PS4): Blizzard’s next-gen action RPG with solo & co-op campaigns, world bosses, and plenty of loot.
The King of Fighters XV (PS5, PS4): A 3v3 fighter featuring 39 characters, rollback netcode, and the Classic Leona DLC skin.
Jusant (PS5): A serene rock-climbing puzzle-platformer from Dont Nod, praised for its tactile gameplay.
Extra freebies for July include a multiplayer free weekend (June 28–29), exclusive PS Store discounts (June 27–29), trial access to WWE 2K25 and Monster Hunter Wilds, plus a 15% movie discount on Sony Pictures Core.
