Pokémon Z-A – Customization Options ,Rogue Megas, Lumiose City Revamp and Mega Dragonite!
Game Freak gave the most in-depth look yet at Pokémon Z-A, the next mainline entry set in a futuristic Lumiose City. Z-A introduces a how to get TMs, story details and show a new mega pokemon Mega Dragonite!
Rogue Mega-Evolved Pokémon now roam the overworld. These threats are stronger than wild Pokémon, acting like minibosses. Z-A is a paid game and includes no microtransactions. All battle rewards and upgrade currency come from ranked online play and in-game progress.
Character customization has expanded. You can now alter height, body type, and more, alongside traditional outfits. Furfrou returns with customizable forms and grooming features. Z-A also includes photo mode and enhanced trainer expression detail. Launches October 16, 2025 with a Switch 2 hardware bundle.
Pokémon Champions
Pokemon Championship introduces a full custom stat allocation system, finally letting players assign EVs, abilities, and even Natures like traditional RPGs. No more grinding, no more RNG. You decide your Pokémon’s full build directly. It looks it official “showdown” game of Pokemon Company
You’ll build a team of Partners, either new ones from Champions or your own transfers from Pokémon HOME.This game allows full team training through a new streamlined system and lets you set up competitive-focused teams with ease. No microtransactions here either. All currencies and rewards come from Ranked Battles. Out in 2026 on Switch, iOS, and Android.
Starting July 23 through September 14, a rotating Tera Raid event features Shiny versions of the Treasures of Ruin: Wo-Chien, Chien-Pao, Ting-Lu, and Chi-Yu. Each Pokémon only becomes available after one million global defeats in raids.
Weekly Mass Outbreak events will run alongside. You can also redeem codes for in-game rewards: use STRACKSU1T (Scarlet) and VTRACKSU1T (Violet) to receive a special tracksuit outfit.
Pokémon Friends
Pokémon Friends is a lightweight puzzle game focused on sliding blocks and rotating paths. Completing challenges unlocks digital plushies to decorate your virtual room. It’s available now on Switch, iOS, and Android for $9.99 USD.
However, multiple DLC packs are already available, with total content exceeding $25 USD. For a casual daily puzzler aimed at relaxed play, the pricing feels steep. Hopefully, the game sees a price adjustment or bundled discounts in the near future.
PokéPark Kanto
apan’s Yomiuriland amusement park is getting a dedicated Pokémon zone called PokéPark Kanto. It’s split into two sections: Pokémon Forest, where Pokémon interact freely, and Sedge Town, where Trainers and Pokémon mingle. The park opens in 2026 and tickets go on sale later this year.
Pokemon TCG - Mega Evolution
The new Mega Evolution illustration arts revealed. The new Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution set launches on September 26. Expect Mega Evolution mechanics to return in a more competitive structure.
Pokémon Concierge – New Episodes in September
Netflix’s stop-motion series Pokémon Concierge returns September 4. The new trailer reveals more interactions between Haru and the Pokémon guests at the resort. Expect the same lighthearted tone and high-quality animation that defined the first batch of episodes.
