Square Enix and Dokidoki Grooveworks released the Tokyo Game Show 2025 trailer for Octopath Traveler 0
The trailer highlights the series’ signature HD-2D visuals, Path Actions, and the Break and Boost battle system, while also introducing new mechanics. Players can now use character creation to define their own protagonist and engage in town building to restore a home base and invite companions.
Combat allows parties of up to eight drawn from more than 30 allies, while the new skill system lets abilities be shared between characters. Octopath Traveler 0 launches worldwide on December 4, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC.
