A demo for Marvel Cosmic Invasion is now live on PC via Steam, giving fans their first hands-on look at the upcoming arcade-style brawler developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu. The demo is part of the Steam Next Fest: October 2025 Edition, and it offers a taste of the cosmic chaos Marvel fans can expect at launch.
Players can choose from nine iconic heroes including Spider-Man, Wolverine, She-Hulk, Storm, Venom, Nova, Phyla-Vell, Rocket Raccoon, and Captain America. The demo features two levels—New York City streets and the Helicarrier—designed to showcase both grounded and high-tech environments.
One of the game’s standout mechanics is the Cosmic Swap system, which allows players to switch between two heroes mid-battle for dynamic combos and strategies. The demo supports both local and online co-op, making it possible to team up with friends either side-by-side or across platforms. Additionally, it is fully compatible with Steam Deck, broadening its reach to portable gaming.
What makes this demo particularly exciting is how it highlights the game’s balance of nostalgia and modern design.
