Embark Studios’ long-awaited sci-fi extraction shooter Arc Raiders is finally ready to land. After several successful playtests that pushed it to third place on Steam’s most-wishlisted games, the full version is set to launch on October 30, 2025.
According to Embark, Arc Raiders will go live at 2:30 a.m. Pacific Time on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. That’s 5:30 a.m. in New York, 9:30 a.m. in London, and 8:30 p.m. in Sydney. The studio expects heavy traffic at launch, so early players might experience brief server issues.
Preloading is already available on Steam and consoles, but not on the Epic Games Store due to an unexpected technical issue.
Once planned as a free-to-play game, Arc Raiders will now release as a $40 title, with a $60 Deluxe Edition offering additional cosmetics and early access rewards. Embark says the price shift allows the team to focus on fun and meaningful progression rather than monetization.
Built on the same powerful engine as The Finals, Arc Raiders mixes co-op survival, scavenging, and third-person shooting in a visually rich sci-fi world. Early playtests impressed players with strong gunplay and atmosphere, setting expectations high for launch day.
