Activision has officially announced Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, developed by Treyarch and Raven Software. The next chapter in the long-running subseries will arrive in 2025 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam, Battle.net, and the Microsoft Store. A full reveal is coming later this summer.
The year is 2035, and the world’s in a worse state than ever—still feeling the fallout of Black Ops II and Black Ops 6. Violent conflict and psychological warfare define the new battlefield, and it’s up to David Mason and his team to push back against an enemy who thrives on fear, manipulation, and chaos.
The full reveal is set for later this summer. For now, Black Ops 7 looks like it’s holding on to the series’ dark roots while adding just enough to feel like a real next entry—not a reset, but a continuation.
