Chronicles of the Wolf Launches June 19 on All Platforms

Classic Metroidvania fans, take note: Chronicles of the Wolf is set to launch on June 19, 2025, and it’s bringing a familiar flavor of gothic action to both new and returning platforms. Developed by Migami Games and published by PQube and PixelHeart, the game will be available on PS5, Xbox Series, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC (Steam).

This spiritual successor to Castlevania invites players to take on the role of Mateo Lombardo, a young initiate of the Rose Cross Order, as he faces the mythical Beast of Gévaudan. With haunted castles, deadly traps, and strategic boss battles, the game aims to revive the genre’s golden days.A standout feature is the inclusion of Bloodless from Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, serving as a guest boss—a fun nod for long-time genre enthusiasts. Even more exciting is the voice talent of Robert Belgrade, known for voicing Alucard in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, returning here as narrator. With a powerful soundtrack from Oscar Araujo and Jeffrey Montoya, and detailed 2D sprite work, Chronicles of the Wolf feels like a modern love letter to fans of gothic action-platformers.

If you’ve been waiting for a new reason to explore cursed cathedrals and outwit monstrous foes, June 19 might be your next holy date.
