CD Projekt Red is set to launch Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.3 on July 17, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with a Switch 2 version coming later. This new patch continues the studio’s ongoing commitment to elevate the game post-launch, and Update 2.3 is perhaps the most player-centric update yet.
The headline feature is AutoDrive, a long-requested addition that lets players have their vehicles—including a newly introduced motorcycle-drive themselves to selected waypoints. Combined with a Delamain taxi service, cinematic driving camera, and a free-roam autopilot option, this feature lets players soak in Night City’s dystopian beauty like never before.
Additionally, three new cars and a bike can be unlocked, expanding the vehicular sandbox. Photo Mode sees a major overhaul too, adding weather and time-of-day controls, 27 new NPC models, and deeper pose settings—ideal for content creators and narrative fans alike.
Under the hood, the update delivers VRR support on consoles, AMD FSR 3.1, Intel XeSS 2.0, and HDR10+ Gamingon PC. Support for Apple Silicon Macs is also live, and FSR 4 will roll out in a future patch.
Rather than just adding content, CDPR has focused on improving player experience—making traversal smoother, combat pacing tighter, and exploration more cinematic. These updates don’t just keep the game alive; they reinvent how it’s played.
This patch is another clear sign that Cyberpunk 2077 is no longer the flawed title it launched as—it’s a living, evolving sci-fi sandbox built around community feedback and modern technology.
