HQ Nordic and Gunfire Games have officially revealed Darksiders 4, the long-awaited next chapter in the post-apocalyptic action-adventure series. While no release date was shared, the game is confirmed for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Set in the same mythic universe as previous entries, Darksiders 4 will once again blend cinematic combat, supernatural powers, and traversal-heavy puzzle solving. This time, however, players will be able to choose from the legendary Four Horsemen, each offering a distinct gameplay style, weapon loadout, and combat rhythm.
Some announced features are:
Playable Horsemen: Pick your favorite of the Four—War, Death, Fury, or Strife. Each brings unique strengths and weapons into battle, from brutal melee to agile gunplay.
Fast-Paced Combat: Expect a return to form with tight, combo-heavy action, supernatural abilities, and fluid movement systems tailored to each Horseman’s playstyle.
Expansive Realms: Explore vast, apocalyptic zones filled with ancient secrets, deadly enemies, and epic boss encounters rooted in biblical mythology.
With Darksiders 4, THQ Nordic looks to deliver the most ambitious and dynamic entry yet in the cult-favorite franchise. No release date has been set, but more details are expected in the months ahead.
