Grit & Valor: 1949, the dieselpunk real-time tactics roguelite from Milky Tea and Megabit, has announced a full platform rollout on August 21. After debuting on PC in March, the game will launch for PS5 (with PS VR2 support), Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, SteamVR, and Meta Quest, with the PC version simultaneously arriving on Epic Games Store.
Set in an alternate 1949, players lead a resistance mech squad to escort a Command Vehicle across Europe and unleash an EMP to topple the fascist Axis regime. The game blends tactical, terrain‑aware combat, roguelite progression, and intense boss fights, capturing the thrill of tabletop miniatures wargaming in video game form.
VR editions, developed by nDreams, elevate immersion by placing players inside the battlefield. “What nDreams has helped us achieve is giving players added immersion, bringing the world of the game to life in a virtual setting,” says producer Kevin Campbell. This release is a bold cross‑platform expansion strategy—military tactics fans can experience the game their way.
With its Steam release receiving “Mostly Positive” reviews (~76%), Grit & Valor: 1949 is poised to attract both console and VR audiences seeking strategic depth and replayability.
