Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio has confirmed it will host an RGG Summit next month, immediately followed by an RGG Direct. The Summit begins on Wednesday, September 24, at 4 a.m. PT / 7 a.m. ET, delivering the latest updates straight from the developers of the Yakuza/Like A Dragon series. The Direct will follow right after, showcasing a deeper look at whatever announcements come out of the Summit.
What to Expect
RGG hasn’t teased specific reveals, but the studio currently has multiple projects in development, including:
Stranger Than Heaven
A new Virtua Fighter project
A potential new Like A Dragon entry
Fans are also curious about Yakuza 0 Director’s Cut, which just released exclusively on Nintendo Switch 2 with new cutscenes. Many are hoping the Summit will confirm additional platforms.
Last year’s Summit surprised fans with the reveal of Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii. With that precedent, expectations are high for at least one major new project reveal this year.
