Capcom has confirmed that the King of Muay Thai, Sagat, will officially join Street Fighter 6 on August 5. The iconic fighter returns as a playable DLC character with full cross-play support across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, and the newly released Nintendo Switch 2.
Leading up to his arrival, Capcom will launch the “Sagat Arrives Fighting Pass” on July 4. It will include Sagat-themed items and unlockables, plus new EX colors for Ryu and Ken that can be used in Fighting Ground mode.
Also launching on August 5 is Outfit 4, a new wave of summer swimwear for seven characters: Cammy, Luke, Chun-Li, Manon, Jamie, Kimberly, and A.K.I. More characters will receive their seasonal looks in the future.

Capcom also gave a competitive update: Capcom Cup 12 is set for March 11–15, 2026, returning to Tokyo’s legendary Ryogoku Kokugikan Arena with a $1 million grand prize on the line. Meanwhile, Sajam Slam 5 kicks off this weekend with 32 streamers and 8 pro coaches facing off for a spot at Evo USA 2025. Catch the action June 27 and 29 live on Sajam’s Twitch.
