SpeedRunners Sequel Will Be Released in 2025
TinyBuild has officially revealed SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed, a full-blown sequel to its fast-paced, side-scrolling multiplayer racer from 2016. This time, the chaos returns with up to eight-player lobbies, new power-ups, and updated visuals — all while staying true to what made the original a cult favorite.
Developed in partnership with Fair Play Labs (Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl), SpeedRunners 2 puts players back in control of speed-obsessed superheroes as they sprint, wall-jump, and weaponize the arena in a heated race for survival. The ring of fire returns, and it’s shrinking fast.
SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed hits Steam in 2025, with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch versions arriving in 2026. The original SpeedRunners is still available on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
